Clean Screens

Rung Clean Screens are high quality, non-blinding screening surfaces.

These screens provide accurate screening and sizing where other products fail. Custom manufactured in four basic styles, these screens greatly reduce pegging and blinding while still separating flakes and slivers from finished product.

All types have extremely high percentages of open area when compared to square opening woven mesh, thus giving higher production rates.

All products are available in Oil Tempered and Stainless Steel wire and can be hooked with any edge style to fit all screening equipment stationary or portable.

W-Style Screen Alternating straight and formed wires vibrate at different speeds, cleaning the screening surface. • Have a triangular shaped opening. • Are resilient to damage from over sized material. • Are most accurate Rung Clean Screen for sizing. D-Style and H-Style Screens The wires in these screens vibrate independently of one another.This vibration is what keeps the screen surface clean. D-Style • Have diamond shaped openings. • Accurately size dry or damp material. • Are also available in High Carbon wire.

H-Style

• Have herringbone weave pattern.
• Prevent roots, grass and other debris from clogging the screening surface.
• Are used where the graduation from raw to finished product is not great.

Rung offers a full line of self cleaning screens in “W-Style” “D-Style” and “H-Style”, with a special
formulation of polyurethane strips bonded with individual wires.With no cross wires, these screens will last up to 3 to 4 times longer than square opening screens.The polyurethane strips, centered on each screen deck crown bar for support, allow the individual wires to vibrate independently and at different frequencies to prevent material from accumulating between the wires as it does with woven wire. By running cleaner and more efficiently, vibration of wires on upper decks will increase volume of passing product. Self cleaning screens work extremely well with wet or sticky material.
